About:Msoke ist ein Musiker aus Zürich, der mit seiner fantastischen Stimme und seinem musikalischen Gespür zu begeistern weiß. Ob Soul, Dancehall oder Reggae, er fühlt sich in all diesen Genres zu Hause. Hörbar wird das beim Sommerhit „Celebrate Summertime“ oder auch bei gesellschaftspolitischen Songs wie „Run“. Msoke macht emanzipatorische Musik, weist auf Sexismus und Homo- / Transphobie in der Gesellschaft hin und versucht dadurch die oftmals graustuftige Reggaeszene etwas bunter zu gestalten. Letzteres ist auch in der Biografie Msokes begründet. So ist es ihm erst seit ein paar Jahren möglich sich in seiner männlichen Geschlechtsidentität selbst zu verwirklichen.
